Visit from Pastor Camilo and wife Isabelita

Pastor Rey came to our home this last Monday July the 1st, with the purpose to present their gratefulness for being a blessing to them in the work God has called them to do.  This is the first time a pastor does this.


He has served alongside Juselino in the area of Alto de Jesus and neighbouring villages since almost 5 yrs.  Then, he was a lay person with the heart to reach out to other communities and so he did, reaching out to almost 5 areas from which two are new.  Since this past April he was appointed to be the main Pastor of Alto de Jesus, giving him the authority and the freedom to develop disciples.
He shared with us the need to develop workers in order to reach out to the other villages around Alto de Jesus such as Murcielago, el Guayabo and other places beyond Vigui.  He already has a group of 13 disciples ranging from 12-60 yrs, as you can see age is not an issue.  What he is doing is paring the young to the old, using the principle of yoking the old ox with a new one, is Biblical.

He also reported that together with Pastor Hector (worked with e3 teams for almost 4yrs), are re visiting the area of San Bartolo, a worked started three yrs ago but because the lack of leadership was not being followed up.  They are visiting the area every week taking alternating their leaders so they can have mor time with the main church.
A recommendation was given and it is the importance of the first church we have, our families.  He was grateful for this because it was a call from the Lord.

The church at La Cucurucha, which has 13 members, have already baptised 4 people.  This church was started with e3 in 2009, with difficulties they have grown and now they have a piece of land for a future building.

Below is a little map that has being developed with the help of P. Camilo and Juselino.  This is the area where P. Camilo works and his willingness to extend the work beyond the local church.  Of course that there are other areas that need help.




One of the things that are praying about is the possibility to sart the same School of Paul & Timothy in this area with the purpose to invest in the leadership P. Camilo has.  Our prayer is to develop something that will require little investment from outside.  This project includes Oral and Bible Institute with the purpose to Plant New Churches.

The Word says that we are harvesting what others have planted and I strongly believe that God is allowing us to see what Moises worked so hard for and was not able to see it in its fulness, but also understand that He has more in store.   !Praise the Lord.!
