Report from the field: This last June, our visit with a team of 12 north eagles and 7 pana eagles together with 4 mountain eagles, to the area of Monte Lirio, Barranquilla, Guabal and newly opened Qda Venado, has being one of the best. The travels, including the river crossing and the team's distribution was orchestrated by the Lord.  Our going in was done by 4x4 crossing approximately four to five rivers (two became one, and will let you know how), we arrived to Barranquilla and teams took off to their working sites.   The Barranquilla team stayed for a two day service in the area.  We worked with the women, the men and the children, the Lord even had a marriage counseling with a couple that are having problems.  Yes, even the Ngobe marriages go through hard times,  David together with the Mission Pastor and the Senior Pastor did a wonderful job, we need to go back and find out if how they are doing.   This same team was moved to Quebrada Vena...

Blessings and good morning: Yesterday we arrived from the Bible Institute (P&B Schools) very encouraged to see the faithfulness of the students to the classes.                                                                               The attendance is steady, which indicates that the Pastors and the leaders or collaborators want to learn.   They participated with the eagerness to get an answer that they could understand and for that God had good translators that jumped in the correct moment to clarify words or concepts.  Awesome. The next School will be held in Sept 5-7, since it is the middle of our rainy season, we pray that this will not be an inconvenience for the students to come. blessings, Talsy & David

September 5-9, 2013 Algarrobo - Chiriqui Mountains Panama, Central America The module we had for this third time was "Bible Study Method and Interpretation Principles".  The School had 21 attendants including David and I, 4 were not able to attend.   Being a long module and with its challenges, for a moment we thought it needed to be split, but Praise the Lord that going through the night the instructors were able to cover the material and finish on Sunday after breakfast.  It became challenging but so interesting when we came to the observation of a Bible text, in order to be able to interpret and apply the lesson to ourselves before teaching it to others.  As the homework was assign t each one of us to do the observation of different texts,  it encouraged us, as we saw how the students would go late to bed and get up as early as 5 am in order to study the text into its context and be able to do a great observation.   My dear brothers and sister...

Pastor Rey came to our home this last Monday July the 1st, with the purpose to present their gratefulness for being a blessing to them in the work God has called them to do.  This is the first time a pastor does this. He has served alongside Juselino in the area of Alto de Jesus and neighbouring villages since almost 5 yrs.  Then, he was a lay person with the heart to reach out to other communities and so he did, reaching out to almost 5 areas from which two are new.  Since this past April he was appointed to be the main Pastor of Alto de Jesus, giving him the authority and the freedom to develop disciples. He shared with us the need to develop workers in order to reach out to the other villages around Alto de Jesus such as Murcielago, el Guayabo and other places beyond Vigui.  He already has a group of 13 disciples ranging from 12-60 yrs, as you can see age is not an issue.  What he is doing is paring the young to the old, using the principle of yoking ...

First of all,  thanks so much for your prayers.  The things our Lord allowed us to experience in this preparation trip was something that we can only named as "miracle" and as I write I am praying that the Holy Spirit will help put into words what happened. As mentioned in our prayer request we had goals for this trip and praise the Lord they were almost all accomplished.  Allow me to mentioned them in the order in which they were in the prayer request. Protection and good weather:  God granted us the blessing that the rivers were not high, so we were able to cross them all, until we reached Guabal Saturday afternoon.  We had service where the word was shared, before showing the Jesus film in Ngobe.  The same night we gave the invitation for the brothers that Mateo is discipling to join us to the next village, a place we have not being before, for we wanted to explore the area, make new friends and find a person of peace, so the team coming on J...
